Assistant Costume Designer for
Spring Dance Concert: Transcend
I was a part of the 2024 Spring Dance Concert: Transcend team as one of the Assistant Costume Designers. This concert contained 6 different choreographed dance pieces by 6 senior BFA Dance Majors. Four of the pieces were costumes designed by Alexa Behm, one costume designed by Leslie Corht, and the other by Danu Granaroli. As one of the assistant costume designers, I was mostly working on two choreographed dance pieces (e•qua•nim•i•ty & AMIDST NEW HORIZONS) and was present in design meetings and fittings. During the fitting, I was writing down and organizing fitting notes, and uploading everything to the Box. As tech was approaching I was also giving a helping hand to the Costume Shop with costumes for the other dance pieces. During dress tech, I provided further assistance by helping answer the dancer’s additional questions and writing any further notes.
